Embeded system Engineer

Embedded systems design and architectures - should be familiar with concepts like watchdogs, task pre-emption, software/hardware interrupts, priority inversion, etc.

The key skills are

• Deliver high-quality C code in a real-time embedded environment.
• Specify, design, and implement functionality and behaviours of embedded subsystems
• Be involved in the full life-cycle of firmware development from concept through integration, test and high volume manufacturing.
• Contribute towards writing requirements with traceability to implementation and the test cases.
• Hands-on hardware brings up, system debugging and code optimization.
• Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements
• Interface with hardware and mechanical engineering teams, as well as service and end-users of the products.
• Proficiency in C programming and proven record of delivering high quality code.
• Prior experience in any of the domains across Industrial Automation, Energy and Infrastructure would be an added advantage.
• Experience defining Test Specification, writing/executing test cases and reporting coverage etc.
• Excellent in embedded programming skills with C and testing with 16/32 bit Microcontrollers with excellent debugging skills.
• BE/B-Tech in Electronics & Communication.
• Proficient in configuration management tools (SVN, Collabnet, GIT) and release procedures.
• A positive outlook, interest in adapting to new technologies, a passion for Embeded system engineering and the ability to work as part of a team.
